I lived in Florence Italy in 1999. I went to an isolated etruscan fortress /town in Tusacany on a day trip. We dined at a wonderful resturaunt which had been serving food for over 500 years! I puchased some wine from the village's winery which I have been saving for about three years. It is a Chianti / colli senesi. The wine is named Monteriggioni , after the town itself. The year is 1995. Is this wine worth saving? Will it age well if properly cared for? I want to know because I would love to drink it again one day soon!

Hi Djsolar, and welcome to the Wine Board. Not familiar with that exact wine. Many wines discovered and/or brought back from Italy are not available here. Being a Chianti and not another iteration of sangiovese such as Brunello, would say that it is ready to go now, and may not improve much in the future.
