- salz - 04-28-2007 Which winery and which wine is the top or Blue chip Australian wine? Like French's Bordeaux First Growth etc? Is Penfolds, Henschke, Moss Wood top grader? - winoweenie - 04-28-2007 Fairly easy answer. Penfolds Grange is the absolute leader in the Aussie 1st growth sweepstakes. Their 707 is IMHO the best Cabernet yearly or near the top. It becomes a jumble after these 2 wines. WW - Bucko - 04-28-2007 I'd take Clarendon Hills, Hobbs and Two Hands over Penfolds. They're all too damned pricey though. |
