Recently I had my first bottle of sangiovese at a restaurant and loved it. I believe that the name on the label was Sessino or something like that. Interested in diving into more, I picked up a bottle of Bonny Doon's sangiovese and liked it, but wasn't blown away. Can anyone recommend a relatively inexpensive (<$15) sangiovese for home use?

Hi John, and welcome to the Wine Board. As you probably know it is native to Tuscany, and the primary ingredient in Chianti and in many other Tuscan wines. The possibilities are endless. If you want to try another American, just up the road from Bonny Doon's Paso Robles tasting room is Peachy Canyon. They make a dynamite sangiovese in your price range.
