Does anyone know anything about a 1983 Cabernet Sauvignon Grgich Hills, Napa Valley?

Tfacunda, welcome to the board. You have a bottle from a very fine producer in Napa.That's the good news. The bad news is 83 was a so-so vintage. Haven't had this bottle in 10 years. If it was stored properly, you could have a nice drinking experience.Open that sucker and hope you get lucky. ( Please don't ask value as single bottles even from great vintages don't garner much excitement. winoweenie

83 was a tough year. Even the Montelena has gone well past its prime.
