- washingtonwino - 05-09-2007 Greetings! How would you rate their Shiraz and Cabs? - TheEngineer - 05-10-2007 The wines are made by a company called Bronco, which is the US's fourth largest winery. They also make other brands such as Searidge and Canyon Oak. For $2.99, you could do a lot worse. In fact for me the whites are decent, again given the price. - californiagirl - 05-10-2007 eh. Sorry, I cannot drink their reds. They give me an upset stomach. (This being after 3 totally separate instances.) - wdonovan - 05-10-2007 Yes but they leave you a lot of money for medicine. - winoweenie - 05-10-2007 Welcome to the board there WashW. They are the flagship wine of Trader Joes. Affectionately known in Calif as "2-Buck Chuck". Here in Az they sell for 2.99. IMHO they represent good P/Q but like CG not my cuppa'. I actually like these wines, and for the price... Wow! I often joke that I'm blessed with liking plenty of wines I can buy at Trader Joes ;-) Steve http://www.homeandfamily101.com [This message has been edited by StevePeterson (edited 05-14-2007).] [This message has been edited by StevePeterson (edited 05-14-2007).] |
