Does anybody have any thoughts on this subject? I've been looking into some ways to cellar some decent wine that I'd like to save for the future. I know that just leaving it around in my house will age it ultra fast because it's normally 72 with very little humidity. Anyway, there are several cellaring services where I live, but I haven't been able to get in touch with any of them. They don't answer their phones for some reason! How much do these services normally run?

Also, what's the consensus on something like those little EuroCaves you can buy for your home? The look like little refridgerators, but supposedly don't vibrate, and keep the tem at 55-58 and humidity around 70%. Some of those things are quite expensive, running over $3,000 in some cases. Does anybody use one of those things, or are they a waste?

MF, many of us use home storage units of one type or another. Go down to the next to last thread, "Cellars/Storage/Racking", to see several discussions of the subject over the last 2-3 years.

God I feel stupid. I didn't even see that discussion board WAY down there at the bottom. Sorry!
