I was new to wine and lack of knowledge about wine. what is the lifespan of red grapes wines, as well as otard and remy martini which my family has been keeping about 20 years?

Hi IW and welcome to the board. Color has nothing to do with the longevity of wine. The way it's been vinified, the terrior where it's planted and the winemakers skill along with the grape varietal all are considerations in a wines ageing ability. Give us the vintage date, the Vineyard name, and the type of grape and we can probably get you some help. The question as asked has no answer. WW.

I agree about the wine. We need more information.

The Otard and Remy Martin should be fine if not open. Cognac can last for years if it's not opened.
