- CookieBLLP - 01-30-2005 Looking to buy a wine refrigerator for around 30-40 bottles. Anyone has recommendations? Thanks, Mark - winoweenie - 01-31-2005 Hi Cookie and welcome to the board. Last I looked Costco had what you're looking for at about 299. WW - buradayam - 02-17-2005 I just got a 52 bottle at Home Depot. Trouble was that it comes with THREE shelves. When I complained to factory, they said they triple stack them. When I said I wanted 2 more shelves to make up for the false advertising, they said 15/shelf + 15 for shipping. The rest of the story: I went back to HD where I found the dept head. He GAVE me free 2 shelves from a damaged unit. Now I have my Haier under the cabinet in the kitchen, and theother in the garage. - hotwine - 02-17-2005 Cookie, it depends on how much you're willing to spend. You can get a fully functional 34-bottle Haier for $299, or soemtimes even $199, at Home Depot, or Lowe's, or Costco, or Sam's Club.... have seen them all over the place, and I've had one for a few years now. Or you can go first class and pay 3-4 times that for a EuroCave. The wine won't know the difference. But if you think you'll only need to store 30-40 bottles, you're dreaming.... you'll fill it up in one weekend of shopping. - RJonesUSC - 02-21-2005 I purchased one from The Beverage Factory a few months ago and have been very happy with it. They have a great selection and good prices compared to other sites on the net. Here is their website: http://www.beveragefactory.com/refrigerators/wine.shtml Only problem I have now is that it's full.
