I've got a bottle of Cabernet Sauvingnon, 1992 Louis M Martini, North Coast, St Helena, Napa County.
I'm trying to determine if it is past it's prime or if I should keep it longer.
Also if it is a poor, moderate or a good bottle of wine .
I'm ussually not into price, but I'm just trying figure out what setting to serve it in.
Thanks

Hi Egloff, and welcome to the Wine Board. This is their journeyman bottling, made to be consumed shortly after release. It may still be OK, but try it very soon.

Thanks Innkeeper.
It was in fact a nice bottle despite the 18 degree C, storage over the past few years.
My ability to discern qualities in wine is about as good as my spelling. Highly changable.
The bottle went well with the spicy frittata, with rich cheese and wild rice.
I found it to be well rounded with a definite pleasing fruit flavour, but possibly a bit flabby on the finish.
However after a few hours when I finished the last glass in the bottle it actually seamed to have developed a crisp finish.
That's my taste buds for you.
Thanks for the advise take care.
