I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to help me with some research I'm doing. Specifically, I'm trying to find info in the following areas:

1. The number of full-service restaurants in the U.S. that serve champagne by the glass.

2. Sales statistics for by the glass champagne sales in the U.S (preferably for higher-end labels).

I've had a pretty hard time finding free information online. However, I have found lots of sites offering market research reports that might have applicable info. Unfortunately, some are so expensive I'd have to donate my organs to afford them.

Anyone know of any sites, books, or other resources I might look into? If so, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Rob

Tango, you are NEVER going to get an accurate answer to any of these questions. Why? Because MOST restaurants are run by independent operators who do a lot of cash business and are not interested in reporting ANYTHING to anyone...

Sounds like a proverbial needle in the haystack search. I am an on-prem beer and wine sales man. I have everything from high end restuarants to neighborhood dives..most of which serve something sparkling...whether it be Dom or Cooks in a 187ml bottle.

good luck
