How long should i keep this wine before drinking it? I mean, how long should i wait before this wine is at its best?
I'm a real wine lover, but i'm still young and i have to learn a lot....

Thanks!

Hi Amalie and welcome to the board. This wine is produced by a large cooperative and IMHO should be consumed anywhere from 3-6 years from the vintage. WW

thanks for the info!

but you said it is produced by a large cooperative, does this say anything about the quality? i thought i made a good choice, i didn't want to buy a simple 'vin de table' but a respectable (but not to expensive) red wine...

Pardon me. As usual I think my correspondents know what I'm thinking and don't detail out quite clearly enough. Just because it's from a " Large Co-operative" doesn't have anytrhing to do with the quality of your wine, only that a lot of different growers, vineyard owners, and winemakers use the facility to produce their wines. Now for the other part, It's my understanding this is a very nice wine and also a P/Q wine, in other words, you have 'zactly what you tried to buy. WW

And if you are not familiar with the P/Q terminology it indicates a wine with a good price to quality ratio--a good wine for its price range.
