- MontereyRick - 04-03-2003 You know, I've been having so much fun filling my wine cellar with lots of fun stuff, and then I had this terrible thought.... what happens if a decent size quake hits??? The majority of my cellar is diagonal bins. Does anyone know of any product that had been devised/invented to keep bottles from bouncing out of the bins in the event of a quake? I realize if the big one hits there is nothing we can do but if an average one hits (and it will), THE WINE MUST BE PROTECTED. any ideas? - winoweenie - 04-03-2003 Hi MR. Some friends of mine in SF put a 20* slant on their bins from front to back. Both have gone thru several 5 richter dudies without any problems.WW |
