- Liteheaded - 06-18-1999 Ice Wine? What is it? [This message has been edited by Liteheaded (edited 06-18-99).] - Thomas - 06-18-1999 First, there is no such thing as a wine without sulfites. Sulfites are included in the normal by-products of fermentation. Perhaps you seek a wine with no added sulfites -- there are scant few, but they are available. Ask your retailer. So, why do you need to find such a wine? WC, we have got to come up with a forum specifically for the subject of sulfites; this same question keeps coming and coming. - Jerry D Mead - 06-18-1999 Liteheaded...We have dealt with the subject of sulfites before...suggest you use the "search" feature to bring those previous comments. JDM - Jerry D Mead - 06-18-1999 Re "search" (see top of screen)..I tried it and it brings up loads of previous discussions and lots of information...both as to health angles and specific wine recommendations.
