My first couple of worthy bottles are neatly tucked away into my newly created wine cellar probly max capacity of about 1-1.5 hundred (if I found some racking). I am glad to have gotten hooked up with Loring. Are there other mailing lists you could recommend to find "stock" for my cellar, Preferrably good yet under on near 50 buck per. WP

My favorites are: Tobin James, Easton/Terre Rouge, Glenora, and Taste of Monterey.

We are fans of Pinot Noir, so we enjoy the mailing list offerings from Sea Smoke, Dobbes Family Estate, and EIEIO always has great offers for neat small Pinot producers from the Willamette Valley. Other than those, and obviously Loring, we've not done much ordering by mailing list.

Suggest you take a look at Scherrer, Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyards, and Joe Swan. Would also tout you on Dehlinger but his cup runneth over. WW

We get mailing lists from Loring, Karl Lawrence, Lewelling, Bressler, Siduri, Jones Family, Radio-Coteau, Pax, ROAR, Kosta Browne, Red Car, Clos Mimi and a few others. We generally get full allocations from the first five, but cherry pick from the rest if we get anything at all.

We also get regular shipments from Tobin James, Willakenzie, Neal Family and Audelssa - sort of a wine club type thing.

Then, of course, we order futures from Scherrer and David Coffaro - about 6 cases or so a year. Almost forgot that we just order a few cases every so often from Mietz and Acorn just to keep up our stock of their wines.

I really should be getting a few cases of FL wines, too - like Glenora. There's also some really nice stuff from Hermann Wiemer, Anthony Road and Fox Run.

Like Dananne I'm a Pinot Noir fan and get wine from Loring, Williams Selyem, and Kosta Browne. For Zinfandels and Petit Sirah I order from Biale. I'm thinking of adding Dobbes Family Estate (Pinot Noir) and have asked for mailings from Edmunds St. John (Rhone blends, Syrah, etc.). I may selectively order from others such as a Meritage blend or Cabernet Sauvignon or Oregon and Washington State wines that are not available locally. Happy hunting!

WOW, I've had a few wines from Edmund St. James and like them also. Friendly open sorts of wines....I think I had one called the Joll Gamay or something like that recently.
