Greetings,

I am attending a Christmas dinner party and I have no idea what the menu is. Can you suggest a universal wine that might go with most dishes, within the $15-25 dollar range? I am a novice and know almost nothing about wine, help? Thanks!

Thanks! California, vague, but better. You could buy a sparkling wine from California, like Pacific Echo, then you run a really good chance of it going well with the meal, or it can be enjoyed before the meal with appetizers or after the meal with dessert. My second choice would be a Beaujolais (French), this too has a great chance of working with a holiday dinner, and it is novice friendly. Jadot would be an easy producer to find, or ask at a nearby wine shop what they recommend.
