Can any tell me which wines taste like grape juice? I am new to wine and don't want to purchase a wine that has a bad Beer taste, but isn't expensive.

Thanks,
Brandon

Hi Brandon, and welcome to the Wine Board. You question begs a question; what kind of grape juice. If you are talking about Concord Grapes, there are wines made from it throughout the Northeast U.S.A. and Southeastern Ontario. Depending on where you live, which you didn't indicate, you may or may not be able to get some of these. Otherwise look in the kosher wine section of your local supermarket.

You would like Manishevitz (sp?). It's a wine used in Jewish religious ceremonies and tastes like Concord grapes.

"I am new to wine and don't want to purchase a wine that has a good taste..."

I read this three times and still can't figure out what you want.

Not only that, Foodie, he doesn't want to buy a wine that isn't expensive.

Wine tastes like wine, not grape juice. Grape juice tastes like grape juice. If you want something that tastes like grape juice, why not buy grape juice. It's cheap too.

I say look for a Concord. It's like Welch's with a kick.

The ideal that comes to mind is Welches & Stoly. WW
