I'd like to know about the vidal wines and the grape. I know about Icewine but what about the other geat VQA vidal wines that are available.

Hi Earle, and welcome to the Wine Board. Vidal Blanc is a French American Hybrid, dating back to the Nineteenth Century. It makes a range of excellent wines from bone dry to the ice wine you refer to. There are many excellent bottlings in your province, as well as throughout the Eastern and Midwestern United States. Enjoyed several very nice ones from Pennsylvania at a recent wine festival.
