I am looking for a good red wine that will age well over 10-15 years for under 40 dollars. The problem is, I am in Austin, Texas and don't know where to go to find one.

What you need is a good wine merchant, and in a city the size of Austin, there must be several. Ask a few folks (waiters at good restaurants, would be likely suspects, wine loving friends) which is the best wine satore in town.

They should be able to steer you in the right direction from their inventory...or some of us here can make recommends...there are scores of wine fitting you very general description...now give us a little more to go on.

Name some wines you've had before that you liked. Tell us why you're looking for a wine with ageability? Are you looking for American or froeign or does it matter?

A very good wine is also the Bourgogne Wine.
I am living in France and it is my favorite wine.
You can keep it for 10 or 15 years.
The bourgogne (or bugundy wine in english) famous crus are : volnay, pommard...
