Hi, I am a college senior attempting to write an economics thesis on wine production and pricing. I am looking for any and all information that I can use in determining factors of wine pricing and demand as well as information on the big wine price drop around 1974. I think this sight is great and I am looking forward to learning more.
Thanks a lot!

Annette, welcome to the board. Before I post any info I`d like to know where you`re from, and what you`re meaning by wine pricing. This could be a par with the age-old " how long`s a piece of string". More info please. Also when you ask about the great wine-price drop of 1974, I take it your talking about Bordeaux. winoweenie

thanks for the quick response... right now i am in the atlanta area. when i say "pricing" i mean: what factors of production can contribute to how much vineyards will charge for wine? as well as which factors can contribute to prices in auctions etc. for investment/collector wines? really i am not picky, i am looking for anything right now and will narrow down later. as far as the drop in 1974, i am referring to bordeaux.
thanks again! annette
