I have a bottle Cossart Maderia wine Sercial 1940 dry from Portugal. I am interested finding how much it is valued at, and possibly selling

Hi AAHMA and welcome to the board. Cossarts' are very fine maderias and the bottle of 40 you have is worth between 400 to 500 at the retail level. The only way to determine it's real value is by auction. Try one of the online houses as selling a single bottle as has been said so often is slim to and individual Good luck. winoweenie

WW is correct. If there is a single bottle exception it might be rare Maderia. Don't know if yours fits the "rare" definition. There are people in the world who track down rare single bottles. They may see it here, but you might actively try to plug into them. You might go to a multi search engine site such as www.dogpile.com and use various key words such as Maderia, Maderia Club, Maderia Collecting, etc.
