Hi, I have just started getting interested in wines, I will use NOVICE with capital letters I`m that new to it.
Question, I was given 2 bottles of (1996 Chataux Notton Margaux) a couple of years ago,can anyone please tell me if this wine has a past it`s best date.

Hi Hovis, and welcome to the Wine Board. It is a nice wine from a good vintage. I would hold it for three more years hoping to get it to its peak. It is worth about $20 U.S.
