Can someone tell me where is the best
online place to order Foie Gras.
California or NY produced Foie Gras is fine.

Thanks.

I've heard good reports on D'Artagnan as a source for fois gras, confit, etc...

Dean and Deluca in NYC has some pretty boss choices. However, as Zenda said above, try d'Artagnan - they are located in Newark, New Jersey and have a really nice selection.

Does no one ever use the search feature on their web browsers?

Or you can try Williams-Sonoma, they sometimes carry some pretty good stuff besides cooking utensils.

I was also going to suggest Balducci's but they seem to have disappeared from the web. I can't seem to find their Web Site anymore (could be a temporary problem.)

D'Artagnan is the source I have always been directed to, with good results. Dean and Deluca are routinely reliable, but I have never gotten it from them. As far as I know, Williams Sonoma does not carry it. WD : )

D'Artagnan is the best from my experience. While not as good as in Alsace, it is impossible to beat here. Agree with all the others.

Williams-Sonoma does occasionally, but they were my last choice.

One other source from New York that I forgot to mention:

Petrossian - www.petrossian.com

Very nice stuff there but also very expensive.
