I am desperately searching for a very good Fragolino Wine. I am oblivious when it comes to which labels are good in this area. Any help on where to order it or how to get a hold of it is also greatly appreciate it. I need to find it within the next 2 weeks so if anyone can help me out, you'd be the best! THANKS!

Liv, where did you come across ANY Fragolino??? This is a varietal that is ILLEGAL to cultivate in Italy but is nonetheless made in small batches for family consumption, mostly in Friuli.People offer it to you like it is contraband (well it is, actually) at tasting rooms and wine shows. I don't think you will find any commercially available in the US but it is also made in NY state as Clinton, yes Clinton!

My information is that Fragolino is actually Concord. I have seen the grape growing and smelled and tasted its wines in Italy; it came across a lot like Concord.
