- kate2 - 01-19-2005 I've come across a gift crate of Mouton Cadet. It's a rather nice, hinged wooden box with the Baron's crest on the top containing 2 bottles of Mouton Cadet. A red bordeaux, 1987 and a white bordeaux 1989. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Oh, and also.... do you think they are drinkable?? Thank you! - Innkeeper - 01-19-2005 Hi Kate, and welcome to the Wine Board. Hope you have a good use for the crate. Mouton Cadet is the journeyman offering from Mouton, and has a very short lifespan. The red one just might be drinkable, but I have no hope whatsoever for the white one. - winoweenie - 01-19-2005 Hi Kate2 and welcome to the board. IKs' close, but don't have a friend over to drink either of these long-gone bottles. WW - kate2 - 01-19-2005 Thank you both for your quick reply. Well, at least the crate is pretty cool looking. thanks |
