I was cleaning out the basement and I found (believe it or not) a bottle of 1972 Chateau Duhart-Milon-Rothschild from the Appellation Pauillac. The bottle was wrapped and looked in good shape and as far as I could tell it was still air tight. Clearly someone put this bottle away and forgot it.

What do you think, is it still drinkable/any good?

Thanks in advance
Bammie

It would have been best that it remain hidden. 1972 was a horrid year in France, and even the first growths from Bordeaux are dead, dead, dead. It might make a nice conversation piece though.
