When I visited today, the horrible flashing "winner" banner was doing its thing and drove me nuts! Extremely distracting!
I know you're probably involved in a link exchange program, but is there some way to rearrange the board so that the banner is "above" the eyeline when reading messages?
I can't stand it a minute longer. I'll be back another time.

she probably had some stupid spam prize" window open up on her while she was here. This has happened to me (not here) and it is very annoying, but hardly the fault or responsibility of this board. WD

She might also have gotten here from a site that linked to us in a frame... The blinking banner at the top of her page would be from the previous site.

Could-a been worse: My absolute favorite new addition to the English Language due to the Internet is "Porn Storm" (the actual phenomenon is horrid: a never ending cascade of nastiness opening window after window until you reboot the 'puter, often provoked by an innocent sounding link in an e-mail).
