- Bucko - 08-12-2000 I have always been a diehard Netscape user. No more. After all of the talk about people being able to take over your computer via Netscape, I switched to IE this weekend. Surprise -- this board operates a LOT better under IE. It is so much faster that I cannot believe it. FWIW...... Bucko - RAD - 08-12-2000 Hear hear, Bucko. Glad you're on board the IE train. I'm a dedicated microsofty, as the saying goes, when it comes to browsers. Netscape sucks! - chittychattykathy - 08-13-2000 D@*# if it's not true, IE is faster! Once loaded it was like flipping through pages of paper when I went back and forth, with no sluggish time. Now, if only useing IE didn't make me feel so dirty. - winoweenie - 08-13-2000 My biggest blunder so far in my comp-life was switching from AOL to Netscape. I can`t believe the time differential on receiving E-Mail, sending, or downloading . I`m stuck with this piece of crap for a year, and the only reason was the promise I`d have DSL in 2 months. It`s been 4 and nowhere in sight. Lying US West.Call me winoweenie with strained nerve endings. |
