Have to say this is my favorite wine store to hang out and drink wine at. It's located in Boardman, Ohio about an hour from me. Usually once or twice a week I'll order takeout from one of my favorite restaraunts, drive out to the wine store, and pull a bottle (or two) off the shelf to open & drink there with my food. They have tables set up so you can eat, drink, relax & even watch the sunset. Due to the state LCB set up here in Pennsylvania, we can't do anything like that here. Btw... they are expanding their wine bar this summer & will be featuring more wines by the glass, as well as having specialty & microbrews on tap now. It's going to be tough to decide whether i'm going to go there to drink wine or beer now! [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb2/biggrin.gif[/img]

WC our " Club " is a store where we meet 2-4 times weekly amd open stuff frum their inventory and then to compliment they have a killer salad, sammich, cheese, and dessert menu. Their corkage is a lovely 8 per. Occassio0nally they let me bring in some of the old worn out stuff. Give that dude lotsa' biz.WW

Having been burdened with our archaic wine laws until just recently it's really fun sharing some of the old dogs with the youngsters at our local pushers. They are amazed and confounded at the same time as most of their tasting experiences have been "On Release" wines, albiet good stuff.
Hard for them to equate a 94 BV Reserve with a 2002 but they're getting the hang of it. WW

I have to agree with you on that... sharing the old wines with the "rookie pushers" as well as up & coming wine lovers is fun. What I miss the most though is the lower prices we use to be able to buy those wines at upon release. So many great 1990 Bourdeau's I purchased for under $20 a bottle. Now... I think I'd rather put gas in the car than pay the higher prices.
