I recently came across some Bottles of red wines, mostly C.S. and a few merlots. They were stored in perfect condition up until about three years ago... scince then they have had good environmental atmosphere but they were kept upright. the vintages vary from 1973 to 1991. Some great lables!
Far Niente C.S. 1989
Caymus Vineyards Special select C.S. 1982
Duckhorn Three Palms Merlot 1991
Cafaro Merlot 1986
Etude C.S. 1985
Spotswoode C.S. 1985
Grgich Hills 1988
Giumarra classic Petite sirah 1973
and a few more

I would appreciate any advice as to condition, Quality, and future storage.

also, anyone interested in buying/trading the lot at a good price can make me an offer

Other bottles in the box were:
Burno Prats 1990
Beaulieu Vineyards C.S. 1989 (georges de latour), 1984 (rutherford)
Chateau Gazin 1990
A very old bottle of Mateus Rose?
A California Gold 13 yr. Brandy (windsor vineyards-best wishes from jerry monday)
And a 1929 bottle from Cuba "Old Havana Elixer Cordial)

I would especially appreciate any info on the old havana bottle and the bottle of brandy
Thanks.

Hi Jeshorn and welcome to the board. What a shame the bottles have been abused fro so long. These are all fine producers that should be at their peak with pristine storage. The only suggestion I have is to open them one by one and check them puppies out. I personally wouldn't have any idea what to offer as I can buy vinegar for 1.19 per quart. Hope they have some pleasure left in the drinking. WW
