- Kcwhippet - 06-16-2004 WoW - Maybe you can help this guy from another board. http://fora.erobertparker.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=001353 - wondersofwine - 06-16-2004 WW, would you believe I have attended a wine tasting in DC along with the author of that request (he's from Baltimore). I will e-mail him directly. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. - Kcwhippet - 06-16-2004 How can you possibly mistake me for the Weener, especially since you know both of us. I'm mortified! - wondersofwine - 06-17-2004 Oops, sorry KC. I wouldn't mistake you in person for WW and I'm not sure why I got the notion it was WW asking about the other forum. Anyway, I've heard back from the requester. He was grateful for the info I provided and we talked about getting together a Thursday evening in July at Luigi's Restaurant (good wine list and Thursday night wine tastings in the bar). Then I checked the dates and realized that Thursday is the date of my surgery on my right foot (doctor couldn't work me into late June schedule). Shucks! I'll miss out on a fun evening with the Psychological Operations veterans. [This message has been edited by wondersofwine (edited 06-17-2004).] - hotwine - 06-17-2004 Be careful, Wonders. They're sneaky. - Kcwhippet - 06-17-2004 Wooo, psy ops dudes. Definitely a group to be wary of. - wondersofwine - 06-17-2004 They're not as sneaky as the SF guys. (I think they consider it a challenge to circumvent the theft-protection devices on library books. |
