- hotwine - 12-27-2001 Last Christmas, she gave me a set of four Riedel Bordeaux stems; this year, it was a Screwpull Professional model. She's tough to keep pace with, but this year I gave her a set of six Riedel Champagne stems and a bottle of 12-yr old single malt. She's a delightful person, of boundless generosity. And did I mention gorgeous, too? What a combination! - mrdutton - 12-27-2001 Would you like to trade.............? My sister-in-law never bought me Riedel Stems, that's for sure! [This message has been edited by mrdutton (edited 12-27-2001).] - winoweenie - 12-27-2001 My Sister-In-Law sent me a used napkin. WW ( Paper) - hotwine - 12-27-2001 Sorry, guys, this one's a gem, and she ain't fer sale or trade. But she's sure enough to make me wish bigamy was legal! - Bucko - 12-27-2001 Okay, we want .jpeg thong views! - hotwine - 12-28-2001 N/A. - zenda2 - 12-28-2001 You're a lucky man, Hotwine. And while thongs sound swell, for the rest of us in the meantime Amazon.com currently has some bargains on Reidel vinum series sets. They have 5 or 6 different styles, sets of 6 are $39 plus shipping (free shipping if your order is over $100). Some real bargains on cookware, as well. Also noted that my local Costco has Metrokane Rabbit corkscrews for $38. A guy with $80 left after the holidays can get himself some pretty elegant wine accessories this week. - winoweenie - 12-28-2001 Hey Dos Zs'. Hope youse have a great tues nite. As usual, following on your post on the Viniums', them dudes are selling mostly stems for them-there SWs'. Their prices on the Bordeauxs are 40 higher than Hi Times. BUMMER!. WW - zenda2 - 12-29-2001 Yep, WW...they were mostly SW glasses, I was eyeing a set of Chianti/Riesling glasses on sale. The price is back up from $40 to $70 today, it looks like the good prices yesterday were on a one day sale. Like we used to say on the commodity trading floor, Timing is Everything. |
