My first Jurancon wine? (Southwest France)
Medium gold color. Dried apricot and honey nose. Apricot nectar flavor very prominent on the palate. I enjoyed this with bleu cheese (a suggestion on the menu at Bistro Bis in DC). The bleu cheese came with apple-walnut chutney (so-so) and crisp bread.

I would definitely seek out a Jurancon dessert wine again. Checking on the Internet, this wine may be from Petit Manseng or Gros Manseng grapes. I believe I tried a Manseng wine at either Horton's or Barboursville Winery in Virginia.
