From a nearly forgotten box of wines with vintages of 1995 to 2000. I am trying to get to these since some may already be over the hill, especially the white wines.
13.5% alcohol
A blend from Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, Carignane, Barbera and Grenache grapes from old vines. Sediment clinging to one side of the bottle.
Dense, opaque, dark purple color. Dark, slightly brooding fruit flavors. Doesn't taste faded. Herbal backdrop to the dark fruits on the nose. Despite my concern that I might have overlooked it for too long, it was quite full-bodied and appealing.

Always a well-made appealing wine that delivers lots od BFTB. Glad you missed these hummers 'cept fer them SWs' that are probably as dead as Bucksnots libido after the long trip. WW
