- Bucko - 06-16-2001 1999 Shenandoah, Zingiovese, Amador County, California, $13, 627 cases. Cherry, dried cherry, earthiness and cedar aromas and flavors are enhanced by chocolate, coffee and lively acidity. A real mouthful for the price. 87/90. - Drew - 06-16-2001 Sounds great...I'll bite, what's Zingiovese, Zinfandel and Sangiovese? Drew - Bucko - 06-16-2001 Bingo! Sorry, I forgot the percentages of each. Bucko - Thomas - 06-17-2001 I would have named it an equally annoying name like Sangiodel or Sanvandel or Zinfandese or the real topper Zinfangiodesevese.
