Hi Rev Joel, and welcome to the Wine Board. Would be willing to bet that this bottle of wine originally sold for a dollar or less. Since then it has depreciated considerably. It's very drinkablility expired decades ago. The only value now would be as a conversation piece.

Interesting post. I have two bottles of A. de Luze & Fils Bordeaux Superieur. My younger daughter found them in a shed behind her mother-in-law's house way up in New Hampshire, so it's not hard to guess the quality regardless of the year. Since they're from 1898 and 1900, I keep them as novelties. Anyone know if A. de Luze & Fils is still in business?

JUst did a Google search on the name and they seem to still be making wine!
