What a bruiser! This wine beat me up and gave me nightmares all night.
Inky black/ruby. Black cherry, plum, dark berry and mint aromas leap from the glass. Like flavors with spicy blackberry, black pepper and a hint of vanilla complete the complex flavor profile. Rich with a sweet impression. Viscous and glass staining with long legs. A delicious wine to be shared by more than two people as the Alcohol is 16%! It might have been a little kinder with another year or two on it. We have a '99 with an '07 tag on it.
