- Mark Evans - 01-10-2002 I have a 1948 Hunter Valley Dry Red from the Rothbury Estate. It is a commerorative issue for the 1948 Cricket Team and has Ian Johnstone (Aussie Captain) on the label. The bottle number is D2813 - Kcwhippet - 01-10-2002 It might be worth something to a collector as an oddity because of the bottle. I couldn't really say what that worth might be, though. To me it's not worth anything because I don't have any interest in that sort of thing. The wine is another story. I'd wager it's worth nothing. - winoweenie - 01-10-2002 Hi Mark and welcome to the board. Most commerorative bottlings are lesser wines that are meant to be drunk on issue. I have no personal knowledge of this bottling. WW |
