Walking down the cellar today I heard this voice whispering loudly.."DRINK ME...DRINK ME " Looking in one of the lower diamonds I saw this lovely bottle. Looks more like a Silver Oak Napa than a Geyserville blend of Zindandel, Petite Sirah, & Carignane. Have no recollection, clue, nor believable lie as to when, whey, or where the blazes I bought this hummer. One thing I can attest to is the blurb on the back that states " Theis is a rich full-bodied red wine that will age at least a decade" is one of the understatements I've read on a bottle. Sparkling ruby color with no bricking. Nose has spices, brambly highlites, loads of red fruits and mature dried flowers. Super entry, weighty center and a kik-patootie 4&1/2 lapper finish. 93/? (guessing less than 15) 14.5% alc. Just guessing this is the big daddy forefather to the Marietta Old Vine Red that I dearly love. Who-da-thunkit?. WW
