Bottle says the fruit is 61% Washington and 39% Oregon, and that the varietals are "traditional Bordeaux varietals," but it doesn't give the breakdowns. Almost purple in color, and throwing considerable sediment. Decanted 15 minutes before 1st pour. Subdued nose suggesting cherry and grapey flavors, but the flavors are subdued as well. Lighter in body than I would have anticipated. Nothing distinct stands out, though it may have just been a more subtle style that was lost in the shuffle of the 7 wines poured during the evening of entertaining. Alc. 14.5%. Paid $18 for it on sale at Whole Foods. FWIW, WE gave it an 87, and they said it can hold awhile. I'd say hold it, too, hoping that it's just resting and that something interesting will decide to come out and play in time.
