This turned up in a recon of Costco today and the blend looked interesting: 33% CS, 26% Sangiovese, 25% Merlot, 13% Syrah, 3% Cabernet Franc. WS gave it a 90 in Oct '04.

Bingo! Ripe cherries and coffee on the nose, spice and raspberries kicking in on the palate, enough tannins to give it some legs, nice tasty finish. With oak-grilled ribeyes, baked spuds, green beans; a chocolate almond cluster for dessert. 13.8% alc and $8.99. Definite case (or truck-load) buy.

Sounds like my kind of wine!

They always do a good job with this wine -- a fun quaffer.
