We have tasted in a restaurant in Luxembourg an excellent Pinot wine made by Kent Callaghan in Oregon. Where could we buy some in Europe ? It does not matter if the importer is in France, Germany, Holland or Belgium.

Best regards

Hubert, welcome to the Wine Board.

Kent Callaghan's winery is in Arizona, not Oregon. This is, at least, in accordance with the information on his website: www.callaghanvineyards.com. Interesting that the website does not list a Pinot as one of the wines he produces. I could not find any information about any Callaghan winery that might be located in Oregon.

Here is some additional information:

Callaghan Vineyards
23 Coyote Ct., Sonoita, AZ 85637
Phone/Fax: (520) 455-5322
Hours: by appointment
Zinfandel, Fume Blanc, Dry Riesling, Buena Suerte Cuvee, Caitlin’s Selection, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah

His website says that he exports to Great Britan, Germany and Canada.

I sure hope you find the wine for which you are looking. Sorry that I could not be of much help.

Hubert,
You've posted in two topic areas, that is naughty!
I grabbed this from the web site that mrd mentioned-
"Save for a washed-out, mediocre Pinot Noir from the Wetstone Vineyard, all of this estate's wines are excellent to exceptional. Callaghan Vineyards must be one of the best kept wine secrets in America. "
Robert Parker's, THE WINE ADVOCATE (TM), Closing Date 10-31-96 Issue 107
(Sure you don't want to look into a nice little Pinot from Oregon?)
