- zenda2 - 08-07-2003 We've talked several times about Hedges red wines, but this Washington state white blend has been a favorite of mine for several years now. A nearly equal mix of sauvignon blanc & chardonnay. Worth seaching for. Color = pale greenish gold Nose = pineapple, gooseberry, green apples Taste = green fruits - green apples, pears, lime. Crisp, clean w/nice acidity & a surprisingly long & 'creamy' finish. Goes very well with any seafood I've paired it with. - Bucko - 08-07-2003 I agree! - wondersofwine - 08-08-2003 Price? - zenda2 - 08-08-2003 I find it locally for around $8.50-$10. Good value. - Thomas - 08-08-2003 Always has been a good value. |
