- dananne - 08-29-2005 This could have easily gone into the "Best Buy" thread. This is the second label wine by K Vintners, produced and bottled in good 'ole Prosser, WA. *waving hello to CCK* Hard to miss label -- all black and white, with the words "House Wine" and a roughly drawn house in the middle. Purple, almost opaque color, with a vivid nose of blackberry, blueberry, and vanilla. Layered dark fruits wash across the palate, with dusty tannins and an earthiness I enjoyed. Long finish. Got better and better throughout the evening, and it will age swimmingly IMHO, especially for a $14 "house wine." Alc. 13.9%. Blend is 58% Cab, 32% Merlot, 9% Syrah, and 1% Cab Franc -- from the Columbia Valley. - chittychattykathy - 08-31-2005 Yo! |
