Columbia Valley red wine Private Reserve.
A wonderful wine. Dark garnet but not opaque. Wonderful nose of crushed blackberry, current, chocolate, black truffle and earth. Like flavors with a complexity of lush dark fruit and a touch of juicy red fruit, dark chocolate, black truffle and loam earth. Drank without food with Eileen overlooking the Assawoman Bay in Ocean City Maryland at sunset. Very romantic and a wonderful wine. 63% Cab and 37% Merlot,(from what I've read). 14.1% Alc/vol. I just love those Washington wines!! $23
