Had a somewhat unpleasant experience visiting this winery in the fall and only came home with this bottle and a bottle of Pinot Blanc.

Deep reddish-purple in color, with a grapey nose. It has the funky grape flavors found in the Norton/Cynthiana grape, and was pretty clean and well-made. It held up well to diverse grilled fare -- steak for Anne, BBQ tofu (insert joke here) for me. Nothing to shout about, and I've had better from N. GA wineries (Tiger Mountain's Norton kicks the pants off it). Paid $17 at the winery. 12.6% alc.
