1999 Nissley, Estate Bottled, Rose' Select ($9.75). The nicest of four rose's that Nissley cranks out. It is a crisp almost dry (1% RS) wine made from free run chambourcin juice. Lots of fresh fruit on the nose and upfront, medium body (11%), more fruit and crisp acidity on the palate, and a quite pleasant finish. A very nice summer or, in this case, end of summer wine that matched with hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob, and tossed salad. Would also go with grilled chicken and shellfish.
