2000 Nissley, Estate Bottled, Vidal Blanc, Lancaster Valley ($10). This is the last of a mixed half case we picked up at the winery in September '01, and the best (like to save the best for last). The fruit was so abundant that one would swear the wine was sweet. It was bone dry though. The fruit was accompanied across the palate with brisk acidity and a faint trace of oak. All followed with a lovely finish. Matched nicely with sauteed chicken breast in cream sauce. Next time you're in Lancaster or a few other nearby cities where they have tasting rooms, pick some up.
