Went to this wonderfully intimate (read small) restaurant where we were met by the maitre di/waiter/sommelier/ etc. He sat us down at a two person table that was really two row tables that sat a total of 24 people for dinner. The only other employee of the restaurant was the Chef. The mean was wonderful. I had a pig's nose, crisped and then put into a terrine, cut back out in to a slice and then pan fried. The wine was our first 2010 Beaujoulais Nouvelle. It was simple and pleasant enough with typical Gamay spice.

The wine for dinner, which I had a wonderful pasta/froi Gras/lamb combo was just fab. The dinner wine was another beaujoulais, the 2008 Jean Foillard Morgon Cote du py. This turned out to be a really good call. Absolutely delicious and much cheaper than the burgs. A slightly lacqour tone, lightly toasted wood, but nice fruit nice structure and the typical gamay flavor profile. Loverly stuff!

Sounds like a match made in Shawnee, Ok(Heaven) Eng. I take it this wasn't a corner spot in Wellesley? WW
