Correction: Chateau de Raousset ("de" instead of "du") Opened on Thanksgiving Day and finished yesterday. Deep purple coloring with crimson-purple rim. Nose of cherries. Slightly tart cherry flavor along with cranberry and pomegranite. I enjoyed it as much or more the third evening it was open as on the first evening. Good match to turkey and cranberries but not a bad match with a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich or with wood-smoked bacon. Very cherry-flavored but with that slight tartness rather than sweetness and with an acidic edge. At under $20, a nice QPR.
