Had this with lunch at Bistrot Lepic in DC with tomato soup with pesto, lemon/shrimp risotto, and fricasee of wild mushrooms with roasted garlic and bits of tomato in balsamic vinaigrette. I didn't take notes at the time, but recall the Beaujolais as darker in color than some, rich and smooth tasting. Nice with the soup and the mushroom dish. A little heavy for the lemon risotto.

Thanks WOW. I do like Brouilly wines.
